Once a month pour 12 ounces of chlorine bleach straight down the drain at the end of the day. In another bucket of water or sink rinse and scrub the drain pipes out with a bottle brush. Place a bucket or deep basin right under the fixture to catch drippings and the clogging materials. Remove the j bend or the p trap.

Another way of removing clogs is by cleaning the pipe itself. Next spoon 1 cup baking soda slowly into the drain. If the sink has a double drain seal the other one to avoid splashing water all over the place. Tough clog remover 1 2 gallon boiling water plunger 1 cup baking soda 1 cup white vinegar drain snake.

Be careful not to let. They will have water in them so set the bucket on some towels and hold underneath to catch the water. In that case use bleach to clean and disinfect the pipes and dissolve clogs. Unscrew the pipes under the sink and set aside the ones that can come completely out.

Wear a pair of gloves when doing this.
